Veterinarian dentistry refers to the branch of dentistry that treats animals. With connection to animals, it is the art and science of preventing, diagnosing, and treating illnesses, diseases, and abnormalities of the mouth, the maxilla-facial region, and its auxiliary structures. It's important to consider the complete animal, even if the mouth is the primary issue. While some oral diseases may be the result of a systemic condition, others may have systemic complications as well.
